Born to parents in the US Air Force and raised all over the US and world, Lauren is driven by a passion for education. A graduate of the University of Virginia, she has spent her time since in various realms of the higher education sector, from US financial aid to private consulting. Lauren has worked as an undergraduate Admissions Director, graduate school Program Management Specialist and the Developer/Manager of a College Admissions Consulting department. Before joining ProEd, she most recently worked in the Washington, DC (USA) area at the Common Application, a universal access application uniting 500+ universities to make colleges more available in the United States. Lauren is Assistant Director of Admissions, Program Management Specialist at the University of Maryland.
Deepa has a Master’s degree in Chemistry along with a Bachelors in Education. She works with a passion towards imparting knowledge, attitude and skills to young learners and helps them to discover the best in themselves. Having more than 15 years of experience with leading Cambridge IG CS E and American curriculum Schools in India , Muscat and Dubai, she has been counseling & teaching high school students. Deepa has been part of the core accreditation team working towards her school’s ambition to be accredited to AdvancED. She has been a trainer and counselor with Technical and Administrative training institute (TATI), Oman. By virtue of her extensive experience in University admissions and counseling, she has guided many students in fulfilling their dreams to pursue higher education in various major Universities and colleges in USA, UK, & Canada.
Simone Charles, MBA, has worked in higher education for 5 years. She received her BBA in Marketing Management at the University of Memphis Fogelman College of Business. Her Master's in Business Administration was obtained at Argosy University. Her knowledge of the higher education landscape has come from working in private, for profit and public universities in a variety of admissions capacities. Her experience as a Recruiter, Associate Director of Admissions and Assistant Director of Admissions or Transfer and International Students has given her great insight into what colleges and universities are looking for in a student and the admissions process the USA.
Christina lives in Washington, DC, USA and works as a Project Manager Geologist at Environemental Resources Management. She graduated with a degree in Geological Sciences at McGill in 2008, and received her MSE in Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 2013. She works as part of the ProEd team to provide advice to students and their families on careers in the Sciences and Engineering, as well as admission to top Canadian and US schools.
A highly-driven and goal-oriented professional with a passion for teaching, public speaking and service. Armed with a degree of Nursing, both in Bachelors and Masters, teaching experience, plus his wits and charisma, he is an addition to the team of experienced and able members of the ProEd family
Marihan possesses Bachelors in Computer Sciences from Wales University, United Kingdom and holds expertise in counseling and relationship building. She carries vast experience in planning and implementation of several projects in industry verticals ranging from Informatics & Web developers, Media and Event Management to Non Profit Organizations. Some of the well-known names she has been associated with are KDEC, Sat7 satellite Channel, WDFC and Rotary Act. Due to her passion for Academics and Education, all this while has been actively involved in various projects of Higher Education consulting and counseling, within the region. Initiated National Development Program in Government Organizations through promotion of Language Schools and higher education counselling. Possesses strong understanding and knowledge on Higher Education, whilst keeping herself abreast with the latest Career trends worldwide and the best Universities/ Colleges providing education to pursue such careers. Holding this as one of her strengths, Marihan has proven to be an ideal choice to advise prospective students on education stream/ best education path / University selection, while being an assistance to school counselors/ education advisors.
